Evenings are the best part of a hot summer day. Earlier, when I used to come back from university, or now, when I come back from work, certain things have remained constant.

To unwind from the exhaustion of a busy day, I truly just want to relax and enjoy my evening with a cup of coffee, my favorite dinner, and, of course, my favorite K-drama.

I just pick up something from my well-curated list of the best k dramas on netflix, and honestly, each one is a gem.

Well, I constantly keep adding drama names to this list, but here I will jot down my best list ever made, for all my lovely peeps out there. Let’s dig in!

What Are The Top Genres In The List Of Best K Dramas On Netflix?

Although I am a little biased towards psychological thrillers as a genre, I have crafted this list of best k dramas on netflix with extreme precision.

I have chosen the top 10 K dramas that have a blend of thriller, romance, slice of life, and psychological issues as themes.

Check it out; I hope you like some of them, but I sincerely hope you give every single one a watch for your very own K-drama retreat.

Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha

Set in Gongjin, this K-drama features a group of characters that blend seamlessly, bringing out the hidden child in the audience.

Every single character has their own set of issues that they deal with, but they all come together as a family and try to be there for each other as much as possible.

The story moves further when a Young dentist from Seoul decides to come and live there in Gongjin, among these people. Will she be able to blend it? That’s for you to find out.

Twenty-Five Twenty-One

When I tell you that I cried gallons of tears while watching this, don’t believe me completely, because that would be an understatement!

This gripping drama tells the story of a group of teenagers and their journey to find their own footing in the world.

This drama celebrates love, friendship, loss, grief, as well as the wisdom that comes along with it.

It also tells us the significance of pursuing your dreams, and how, when you look back at life from a point where you have always wanted to reach, you will feel it was all worth it!

Crash Landing On You

No K-drama list is complete without mentioning this masterpiece. One of the best K-dramas on Netflix, this drama revolves around the story of Yoon Se-ri, who gets caught in a tornado while paragliding and crashes in North Korea.

There, she meets Captain Ri Jeong-hyeok, who supports her to stay hidden and then eventually escape back to Korea.

Of course, all of this would not happen without any drama involved! This narrative portrays their romance amidst these turbulent political events.

Do you have any idea how this complex story will end? See for yourself!

Extraordinary Attorney Woo

I think Extraordinary Attorney Woo is another best k dramas on netflix for a reason! I rarely came across a drama or movie that showed disability in such a cool way!

For me, Attorney woo is no less than a superhero! (yes! Am serious!)

This drama tells the story of attorney Woo, an autistic lawyer with exceptional intelligence and a photographic memory.

She navigates hardships as a rookie at a large firm with her unique perspective. The series explores her professional as well as personal life.

Woo steers through the challenges of the courtroom and relationships outside of it as well, and learns from the experiences she gathers.

The title, “Alchemy of Souls,” highlights a forbidden magic practiced by certain mages in the town, allowing them to exchange souls between individuals using a unique stone.

During one of her missions, Naksu is wounded and undergoes a soul shift, ending up in the body of Mu-deok, a blind and frail girl..

Vincenzo

At eight, Park Joo-hyung (Song Joong-ki) is adopted by an Italian family, later joining the mafia as “Vincenzo Cassano,” a consigliere to Don Fabio.

After Fabio’s death, his son Paolo attempts to kill Vincenzo, who flees to Seoul to recover 1.5 tons of gold hidden in Geumga Plaza.

However, Babel Group has illegally taken ownership of the building, forcing Vincenzo to use his skills to reclaim it.

He teams up with tenants, including the Jipuragi Law Firm led by Hong Yoo-chan (Yoo Jae-myung) and his daughter, Hong Cha-young (Jeon Yeo-been), to fight against Babel Group after her father’s death.

A fun-loving, quirky drama with its own set of emotions, Vincenzo is always the drama I recommend to someone who wishes to start their Kdrama journey.

The Glory

I was waiting to write about this one. The Glory is undoubtedly my top favourite in the list of best k dramas on netflix.

This nerve-wracking revenge drama revolves around the story of Moon Dong-eun, who meticulously plans a revenge against her high school bullies, especially Yeon-jib, the head bully.

Dong-eun manages to tear everyone down mentally and ultimately serves poetic justice to herself.

Trust me on this, just go ahead and give it a watch. Although be careful, you might feel compelled to plan out a revenge coup as well!

Eve

Eve is a powerful drama that will keep you hooked to the screen. I had watched this right after finishing The Glory, as I was still in the mood for revenge (too soon?), and this drama does justice by all means.

The female protagonist, Lee La-el, has planned revenge since she was 13 years old, against the people who murdered her father and took away his company. But all that planning was interrupted by the common evil, Love.

The acting, the cast, the storyline, as well as the fashion scene, this drama has it all. As a veteran fan of Soo Yea-ji, I must give her a special shout-out.

This woman has my heart, and she plans to keep it that way for quite some time. The expressions, the fashion, and her eyes! (dies)

I would suggest that you all watch this drama immediately after finishing The Glory. It can make the perfect binge-watching duo.

It’s Okay To Not Be Okay

This drama will bring to light your deep-rooted issues that you may not have been aware of. The drama revolves around two brothers, where the elder one is autistic and the younger one is in charge.

Oh boy, how much have I cried while watching this! All the characters are so well-crafted according to the storyline that it feels like we are watching real people.

Of course, Soo Yea-ji was as phenomenal as always. I have run out of words to describe anything this woman does, so go watch the drama and decide for yourself.
